Bringing the characters of SEGA’s iconic franchise to the recently released Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble for the Nintendo Switch, the developer and publisher has today introduced Tails, Knuckles, and Amy from the Sonic the Hedgehog series as part of the SEGA Pass DLC. These characters, if purchased, can now be played in both Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, each with unique stats. Additionally, in-game pick-ups will change from bananas to Gold Rings, paying homage to the series’ main collectable.
Purchasing the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Digital Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo eShop will include the base game and the SEGA Pass, featuring six additional characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Beat, and Axel.
The SEGA Pass also offers 15 customization items with costumes for Shadow the Hedgehog, NiGHTS, Gilius Thunderhead, Majima, and Akira. These customization items are available for AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon, Baby, YanYan, Doctor, and Palette. The SEGA Pass, along with individual character packs and costume sets, can also be purchased separately.
