Toei Animation and Crunchyroll are joining forces at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to present fans of One Piece with a series of immersive events, highlighting the Japanese media franchise’s 25th Anniversary. The flagship event of this line-up will be One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphonic Voyage. This is a special live outdoor concert, produced specifically for San Diego Comic-Con 2024, performed by the San Diego Symphony at the Rady Shell in Jacobs Park.
One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphonic Voyage will be open to all San Diego Comic-Con badge holders on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will take place on Saturday, 27 July at 7:00 PM, featuring a 40+ piece orchestra that will guide attendees through a 90-minute musical journey filled with emotional soundscapes and aerial pyrotechnics. This performance will highlight memorable moments from the One Piece anime.
Starting from 5:00 PM until an hour after the concert, fans can participate in various One Piece activities. These include the Gum-Gum Punch Challenge with Luffy, photo opportunities with Nami, and playing the piano with Brook. While doors for the concert open at 5:00 PM, but badge holders can start lining up at the Rady Shell from 4:00 PM. Toei Animation and Crunchyroll team members will be present to guide attendees to the general admission line.
In addition to the concert, from 25-28 July, fans can visit the Toei Animation (#3635) and Crunchyroll (#4135) booths inside the San Diego Convention Center. These booths will feature exclusive One Piece programming and merchandise, including a DIM MAK X One Piece pop-up shop and podcast stage. Fans can explore seascapes from the series, such as Alabasta and Egghead Island.
