After decades of console exclusivity, gamers who have stayed loyal to the PC as an exclusive gaming platform will finally have their opportunity to play the Kingdom Hearts franchise, the long-running RPG collaboration project between Square Enix and Disney.
Square Enix has confirmed that the entire series will be coming to the PC via Steam starting 14 June 2024. This will be made available as part of the previously developed collections of games: KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, KINGDOM HEARTS 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and the most recently released compilation KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC). For those who want to buy them all, a special Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece collection collates all three.
The Steam release of KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will be able to take advantage of new textural updates to its graphics made available as part of this PC release, while those who purchase KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC) will also receive the new platform exclusive Keyblade “Dead of Night”.
