Capcom and the Dragon’s Dogma 2 development team have confirmed that another update is in the works with a planned release date of “this month”, which caters to the following requests:

Many of these updates are gameplay and quality of life oriented, with in my opinion the big draw card being the reduction of dragonsplague infection frequency and more evident signs – as in my opinion, especially for those on their first or second playthrough, you can get the feeling that every pawn is infected and are constantly worried about having one of your hub towns nuked by the final stages of the curse.
Unfortunately for those seeking performance improvements, those are not present in at least the planned patch notes shared by Capcom, but may be incorporated into the update – or a future patch.
