EastAsiaSoft has announced the release of Richman 11, the latest installment in the Richman digital board game and party series on consoles, following its PC release via Steam in October 2022. The game is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Microsoft Store for Windows. For a limited period following its release, the game will be offered at a 20% discount.
Originally launched in 1989, the Richman series is a truly long-lived board game style video game series, with Richman 11 being the latest to date – setting out to be the most engaging experience to date with enhanced graphics, a range of unique characters and more. The game supports both local and online multiplayer modes for up to four players and offers extensive solo gameplay against computer-controlled opponents.
Richman 11 is priced at US$/€18.99, with the price varying by region and before any applicable discounts. Physical editions of the game are scheduled for release in North America on June 25 and in Europe on June 28, in collaboration with Funbox Media Ltd (EU), Gamestop (US) and Amazon (Canada). Pre-orders for these editions are currently available.
The game features a variety of gameplay options, from classic maps that pay tribute to the original 1989 game to new brawl boards equipped with interactive elements like missiles and bombs. Players can choose from 16 different characters, manage properties, upgrade buildings to increase rents, and strategically navigate the board to achieve financial supremacy. The game seeks to offer players a dynamic and strategic competition ideal for both newcomers to the series and long-time fans.
