Magic Chaos, developed by Super StarMine and published by Phoenixx, is now available on PC and Mac via Steam, priced at $6.99 USD or local equivalent. This game introduces a blend of bullet-hell and party game mechanics, set within a competitive multiplayer format. Players can select from one of eight unique heroines, each boasting her own special abilities, main skills, and switchable sub-skills, to engage in player versus player (PvP) matches as the bullets fly from all directions. The game supports up to four players in local multiplayer settings, where strategy and skill are key to overcoming opponents in chromatic battlefields.
The gameplay of Magic Chaos is characterized by its fast-paced, twin-stick shooting action. Players can employ a variety of tactics, from duplicating missiles to create overwhelming attacks (Necromance), using ice-based munitions to slow down adversaries (Rabi), to teleportation (Zophie) and absorbing the strength of incoming attacks for countermeasures (Showdown).
The game encourages players to adapt their strategies, utilizing the environment to their advantage, and varying their attack patterns to keep opponents off guard.Victories in Magic Chaos allow players to unlock new characters, attacks, and arenas, enhancing the game’s replay value.
