Set against the backdrop of 1913 Georgia, Parade tells the harrowing story of Leo Frank, a Brooklyn-born Jewish man living in Georgia, who is accused and subsequently put on trial for the murder of Mary Phagan, a thirteen-year-old factory worker under his employment. The narrative delves deep into themes of justice, prejudice, and love, as Leo faces a biased legal system and public opinion. His fight for exoneration is supported by a few, including a morally upright governor and his Southern wife, who becomes an unwavering source of strength and advocacy.
