NieR Re[in]carnation to End Service in April 2024

Following the worldwide closure of SINoALICE, Square Enix and developer Applibot has also made the announcement that their other mobile game based on the works of Yoko Taro, NieR Re[in]carnation is set to conclude in the coming months. This covers both global and Japanese versions of the game.

In the remaining months, the development team will release the game’s final chapter – The People and the World – and provide a month to enjoy it and the game’s remaining content. The final chapter is set to be released on 28 March, with the servers to shutter down at 6PM (PST) on 28 April 2024.

With the final months to be filled with promotions, events and the aforementioned new chapter, Applibot has shared the below roadmap to service termination, with everything on the roadmap concluding 28 March, making me wonder whether they are pulling a NieR ending approach:
