A brand new limited edition version for the retro-animation style run and gun game Cuphead has been announced for release on 20 June 2023 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One at a price of £54.99 or local equivalent. In addition to the retail Limited Edition, a special iam8bit exclusive Collector’s Edition is also in the works, which is also available to pre-order.
The Limited Edition retail version of Cuphead offers fans a variety of exclusive goodies, including a Ms. Chalice Fall Down Figure, Delicious Last Course DLC Expansion, six collectible Cuphead Funnies Cards, a Cuphead Club Membership Card, and exclusive interior art by Studio MDHR.
Cuphead is a classic run-and-gun action game with a focus on challenging boss battles, featuring visuals and audio inspired by 1930s cartoons. Since its debut in 2017, Cuphead has sold over 12 million units worldwide, and has also spawned merchandise and a Netflix animated series.
This Limited Edition, developed by Studio MDHR in partnership with iam8bit and Skybound Games, hopes to give players an opportunity to add Cuphead to their physical game collections and experience the game to its fullest extent.
