With Genshin Impact v3.2 bringing the main Sumeru Archon quest to its conclusion, Nahida (Aka. Lesser Lord Kusanali) has been made available to recruit via the game’s gacha wish system for a limited time. In addition to delivering some incredible dendro-oriented gameplay features that could define many gameplay metas for the coming updates, thriving as a sub-DPS and support character, and being arguably the most valuable non-healing catalyst to date – she is also so gosh darn cute!
Despite being hundreds of years old, she joins the likes of Klee, Qiqi, Diona, Sayu and Dori as the game’s sixth character with the Female Kid body type, and all the cuteness that comes with that base model. But this time around, her attack and skill animations are also very adorable, and some of the most unique of any character to date. But one thing that I love is her idle animation, where she summons a swing and sits on it, as they wait for you as the player to get a move on. Can we all agree that Isak is absolutely adorable cosplaying as Nahida? While Genshin Impact as a whole has to date been resistant about letting players have any control over NPC characters, it was an interesting way of introducing this functionality, through a choice-driven set of scenes. It was a nice way of ensuring that every story-important character during the Sumeru arc had a role to play at the very end.
Developed by HoYoVerse and now in its third year of operation, Genshin Impact is now available to download on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android platforms. While free-to-play, the game is supported via premium currencies and a wish “gacha” system.
