After first debuting to worldwide audiences with a demo version, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is making its impending launch with a third and presumably final demo version on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. This third demo will give players a chance to familiarize themselves with the game’s new action-oriented combat, its deep, customizable job system and its familiar, yet mysterious, world based on the first title in the legendary RPG franchise. Save data from this demo will, of course, carry over to the full game.
The demo allows players to explore Pravoka Seagrot and the Western Keep, experience new playstyles in battle with the addition of multiple new jobs that were not available in the previous two demos and fight against an array of new enemies. Players can also try out the game’s multiplayer function, allowing up to three people to play together and battle monsters as an online party. Multiplayer will only be available to those who have an active subscription to the Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus services.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is the latest spin-off game in the Final Fantasy franchise, an action-oriented game co-developed by Square Enix and Koei Tecmo’s Team NINJA studio. It will be available starting 18 March 2022 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (the latter exclusively via the Epic Games Store).
