With time-limited events and rewards such as skins, player icons and sprays now available, Blizzard Entertainment has today commenced their 2021 Winter Wonderland festivities on Overwatch for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch platforms. As expected, the event will include a mix of free and paid content.
Five new Legendary skins are available, and all previous Winter Wonderland skins are available at a discount. The new legendary skins include Reindeer Orisa, Sleighing D.Va, Snowman Wrecking Ball, Ice Wraith Genji and Snowboarder Baptiste.
All previous Winter Wonderland brawl events – including 4v4 Freezethaw Elimination, Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt, and Snowball Deathmatch – are available for players. Weekly challenges are also back, giving players the opportunity to unlock limited time rewards through 9/18/27 games in Quick Play, Arcade, or Competitive Play. Rewards for completing each weekly challenge includes player icons, sprays and a weekly Epic Skin:
- Week 1: Wooltide Tracer
- Week 2: Mistletoe Symmetra
- Week 3: Peppermint Bark Brigitte
Winter Wonderland 2021 will run from today, and conclude on 7 January 2022.
