During todays Nintendo Direct conference, for which a fair amount of information was released on the upcoming launch of Nintendo’s Wii U console… Platinum Games was a hot topic. While they announced a new title for P-100 (The Wonderful 101), they came in with a surprising announcement. For the first few moments I was secretly expecting them to announce Metal Gear Rising, which might have explained why Platinum Games suddenly dropped XBox360 support in Japan and given a few Metal Gear Solid games did make it onto the console.
Instead, the announcement was that Bayonetta 2 is headed to the Wii U, currently as a console exclusive developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo.
