The first collection of Persona 4: The Animation is set to launch in North America this month by Sentai Filmworks, who were able to get back the original English voice cast from the game to reprise their roles (Besides notable exceptions as present in Persona 4 Arena). Madman Entertainment, an Australian publisher of anime and licensor of the series to the Australian market are slated to release it on DVD and Blu-ray this December.
This is set to contain the first half of the series and most likely (as with the North American release), the Blu-ray version will only feature an English dub. Extra content in this release is set to include a Director’s Cut of episode 1, Japanese commentaries and textless songs. With any luck, we should be seeing the Aussie release of Persona 4 Arena and perhaps even Persona 4 Golden before or around its time of release.
