Japanese video game developers Imageepoch have released their latest set of screenshots for Tokitowa (Toki to Towa / Time and Eternity) for the Playstation 3. As hinted above, three of these images to involve some mild degree of fanservice including tentacles, beach scenes and a conveniently steamed bath/shower. However, this is only a mere portion of the screenshots.
The screenshots showcase to different battle mechanics which can be used – Rapid Time which speeds up Toki during battle and Freeze Time which prevents the enemy from attacking. In addition to these screenshots, we have some dialogue/cutscene scenes, general gameplay / environment showcases and a sneak peek at the contents of the games bonus art book.
Tokitowa is a collaboration game between Imageepoch, Namco Bandai and Studio Satelight – with its main draw being the visuals which attempt to minimize the difference between anime-style cutscenes and in-game footage. The game is currently slated for release in October 2012.
