While fans of the Tales series outside of Japan are left waiting for their English localized release of Tales of Xillia (and in PAL regions…. their release of Tales of Graces f), Namco Bandai in Japan are finalizing the demo they will be showcasing at a national demo event tour for the game. The problem is that while they are all ready to showcase the game to the public… they are uncertain as to WHAT demo the public would like to play – therefore are leaving it up to a vote to decide what one is previewed and what one doesn’t.
DEMO #1 – Nature Factory Ascolt
The demo takes place in a food production factory within Elenpios and seems to be more storyline based than Demo #2. Ludger et al. investigate the factory after learning that the power supply is being used by a spirit of some shape or form. During this demo you are faced against security guards, security bots and even a main boss. The demo provides ample storyline as you make your way through the dungeon and possibly encounter an old friend from Tales of Xillia.
DEMO #2 – I Want to Go Home
Unlike Demo #1 which is storyline based, this seems to be more involved in smaller quests. Set in the harbor town of Dovol, Ludger who is in debt is now able to stray too far from town. As the name suggests, he wants to go back to his home town so must pay off some of his remaining debt.
