At their Otakon 2012 panel, Crunchyroll announced that they will be adding three series to their already extensive stream lineup. These series are as follows:
Angel Beats!
It sucks being dead. Sucks even more to be trapped in a surreal afterlife where you’re caught between the living and the dead—where a mysterious, violent Angel is trying to pull you over to…somewhere. What do you do? Well, if you’re this group of rough-and-tumble teens, you grab every weapon you can get your hands on and give Heaven hell! High-caliber action and locked-and-loaded comedy meet on a rock and roll battleground in Angel Beats!
This was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Sentai Filmworks in the middle of last year. This features direction by Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation, Humanity Has Declined) and animation by P.A. Works.
Hell Girl Season 2: Two Mirrors
They Say Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold… But What if YOU’RE the Second Helping? They call her Jigoku Shoujo – the Hell Girl. For endless years, Ai Enma has served as the embodiment of revenge itself. If you desire to send another’s soul to eternal torment, contact her via the internet and she’ll come from her land of endless sunset to deliver your revenge. At the cost of sending your own soul, of course, but it’s a price a surprising number of people are willing to pay. However, things are changing with the Hell Girl. Once seemingly implacable and pitiless, glints of emotion now show through the cracks forming in her emotionless façade. And now, there is a new girl with infernal connections who seems to be turning up with alarming regularity. Things are about to heat up in the damnation game in the second season of the brimstone-blazing HELL GIRL!
