Alt Plus Releases Seirei Fantasia on GREE Mobile Service, Based on Their Rather Successful Bahamut Brave Game

-

Japanese developers Alt Plus and online service Gree Inc. have announced that the GREE social networking service will begin providing their new Fantasy card battle game Seirei Fantasia (精霊ファンタジア) which makes use of their original card game system on the Gree service “Bahamut Brave” (バハムートブレイブ) which has seen good success with over 600,000 users in Japan. While the game system remains the same, the artwork concept remains slightly different and features moe card artwork with characters based on gods and mythology as you will see in some examples released below.

This service is limited to users within Japan who hold an email address on one of the countries mobile networks. However if you are fortunate enough to reside in Japan and are interested in this game, for a limited time you will be able to take advantage of a joining campaign taking place between the 6th July 2012 and the 7th August 2012 which can net you 3,500 coins worth of items for completing the tutorial and reaching level 10. The basic game is free to play but with select extras available for a price.

While most mobile social networking games have not been released outside of Japan, many franchises have seen rather successful mobile releases including The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls which already has single soundtracks released and even the Tales and Persona series to name a few have similar games available on the market.
