You didn’t just expect Funimation to announce a mobile application at Sakuracon right? The company also made three announcements in regards to the series Sankarea and Shangri-La. For both series the company has acquired the broadcast, home entertainment, mobile and streaming rights to them, however as a third bonus acquisition, the company has also acquired the rights to simulcast Sankarea which has only just begun airing in Japan. Simulcasting will begin on Niconico and Funimation.com this season.
Sankarea
