A few months ago I shared an interesting video entitled “The Ph.Diddy is on the scene”, a parody musical video featuring the life of a student beginning his pHD canditure along with the ups and downs of life in a Biotech lab. I was today informed that Life Technologies, the company who released this video have now uploaded a second video on Youtube entitled “Ph.Diva and the Mystery Band”. While I have never had people randomly pop up and sing in the lab I work in (*Pout*) – scientist or not I am sure you will appreciate the humor and “real-life” experiences portrayed in the video.
April Brite, (aka the Ph.Diva) is a biotech Postdoc. April is thrilled when her abstract is picked for an oral presentation, and starts preparing her presentation. When her PCR does not go exactly as planned, she sets off on a journey filled with frustrations, anticipation, fascination and determination. Will our Ph.Diva make it in time for her conference?

I should also mention here that things might be a bit slow over the next couple of months thanks to a number of assignments along with this extremely “fun” *coff* Masters Thesis I am in the middle of writing.
