Carpe Fulgur is well known for its release of several unique Japanese games including Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale famous for its “Capitalism Ho!” phrase. Their next title up for release is Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone which has you controlling three child-like heroines to fulfill their quest for adventure, facing danger and doing something involving secret elemental stones all in a side-scrolling platformer world – which looks great to say the least. The game is due for release on the 17th January for a cost of $25 – a bit pricier than their normal releases but they claim “We think everyone will find the quality matches the price”.
But you might just want to get into the game now – or perhaps want experience the game a bit before you part with your money? Carpe Fulgur have come prepared with a demo version of the game which can be downloaded from the official website HERE. I hope to also be covering the game and will hopefully have my review out shortly after release.
