While NBA 2K21 may be a game from last year, Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia are encouraging players in their supported regions (Australia and New Zealand) to boot up the game on the PlayStation 4 again and see just how good their skills still are. Players are now invited to register their interest HERE or in-game to participate in a special tournament taking place throughout August.
Starting on 16 August 2021 and taking place until the 30th, players will have the opportunity to win prizes from a prize pool valued at $10,000 AUD, consisting of PS Store Gift Cards, NBA 2K22 virtual currency, NBA store vouchers, NBA League Pass, NBA merch and a chance to win a PlayStation 5.
The tournament will commence at 16:45 AEST on 16 August 2021, followed by a second qualifier on August 20 at 16:45 AEST, third qualifier on 23 August at 16:45 AEST and fourth qualifier on 26 August at 16:45 AEST. Finals, consisting of the winner of each qualifying round will then take place on 29 August.

Participant Prize
All players participating in the tournament at every level will be in for a chance to win a coveted, potentially hard-to-find PlayStation 5 console. To be eligible, you need to register for the tournament and play at least one game in it.
