With little more than a month to go until Bandai Namco Entertainment’s new next-generation IP, Scarlet Nexus, goes live on store shelves – you may be wanting a taste of what to expect before making the decision to purchase it. From today, as a timed exclusive on the Xbox Marketplace, you can pick up a limited demo version of the game for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
A PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 version of the demo is expected to go live a week from today. Outside of the timing, there has been no announced content differences between the two.
In terms of content, the demo will see players join the ranks of the OSF, and take control of either Yuito or Kasane. You will experience the first chunk of the game, up to the first boss encounter.
Yuito fights with close-ranged attacks thanks to his swords and can borrow Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Clairvoyance and Sclerokinesis powers from his team members. On her side, Kanase specializes in mid-ranged attacks with flying knives. In addition, she can use the following powers depending on the composition of her party: Electrokinesis, Hypervelocity, Invisibility and Duplication
