LEVEL-5 games together with Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, a sleeper hit of 2018 originally released on the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, will be ported across to the Nintendo Switch this year.
Players will be able to experience or re-experience the journey of President Roland Crane and child prince Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum on 17 September 2021 worldwide through what is being dubbed as the ‘Prince’s Edition’. Follow them as they establish a new kingdom after the latter was dethroned from Ding Dong Dell, and set out to explore the world and unite it under a reign of happiness and freedom.
The Prince’s Edition of No no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is only planned to be offered on the Nintendo Switch, and in addition to the base game features three previously released DLC:
- Adventure Pack, with new outfits and items along with the Faraway Forest Cave random dungeon and new threats for Evan’s kingdom
- The Lair of the Lost Lord in which Evan will set on a new extraordinary quest in a new world. New items, equips and a new dungeon, Labyrinth, are also included in the DLC
- The Tale of a Timeless Tone. During a dream, Evan meets a rabbit-headed man who calls himself the “Conductor”. Players will explore Evan’s dream and find the goal of all this. New content also included along with the Solosseum Slog dungeon.
