Collaboration Between KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ[Cross] and Pixar’s Onward Commences

In a game which essentially brings together decades of Disney characters, worlds and events into one gaming experience, this announcement should come as little surprise. Marking the recent release of Pixar and Disney’s latest animated feature film Onward, Square Enix has commenced a limited-time collaboration event on their smartdevice game Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross].

From now until 1 September 2020, the crossover event will see players partake in a number of challenges, which will unlock in-game medals modelled after Onward’s lead characters – Ian and Barley Lightfoot – teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to rediscover the magic that once existed in their world.

The event will comprise of three elements:

Special Login Bonus
Players can collect the brand-new Ian Lightfoot Medal and corresponding Trait Medals, in addition to other rewards, as a special login bonus during the campaign period.

Weekly Jewel Extravaganza
Players will receive the Ian & Barley Medal and more, including Jewels, the corresponding Trait Medals and access to special quests, by purchasing this pack available from August 24.

Event Reward
Players can earn the Barley Lightfoot Medal and corresponding Trait Medals through a special in-game themed event.

Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is now available for download via the iOS App Store and Android Google Play store.
