Puzzle-Adventure Game Involving Fake Social Network Launches on iOS, Android

Serving as the second game in the Japanese developed “Fake Social Network” video game series, Vanguard Universal and PQube have confirmed that the Puzzle-Adventure game Alone Together is now available for purchase on iOS and Android devices.

With one of the game’s main settings being a fictional social media network, it seeks to deliver an experience which “blurs the line between game and reality with an authentic-looking social media interface and notifications on your phone when characters message you”. Each member you meet on this network has an individual story, which leads to a number of puzzles – ultimately leading you to solving the mysteries which unfold.

Alone Together involves the social network known as “Bocchi World”, where lonely people chat and share puzzles to form new friendships. But what if not everybody is as they seem? What risks are there as these friendships start to move offline?

By itself, Alone Together is available as a free download via the iOS App Store and Android Google Play store. The first game in the “Fake Social Network” series, known as Tokyo 13, is also available for download on both platforms.
