As Pokemon Yellow was to Pokemon Red and Blue, Crystal to Gold and Silver and Emerald to Ruby and Sapphire and so forth, whenever there is a Pokemon RPG game set with two different versions, there has always been a third game which features improvements, a mixed pokemon set of the two games and even completely different storylines or characters (I look back at Jessie and James in Pokemon Yellow.
With Pokemon Black and White being the latest installment in the game series having been released in March this year, it was only a matter of time before something came out about the game. Well, there is no official announcement as of yet but instead the finding of a domain name – pokemongray.com by the folks at Nintendo Buzz, in which the article flew under everyone’s radar until picked up by IGN today. Digging through the domain registration logs, the domain name was registered under Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services, the same group that registered the current Pokemon Black and White website used today.
Now, this might have been a means of protecting the domain as it was registered last year before Black and White was released, but hey – if this means that there is at least another game being developed – I am sure Nintendo, Game Freak and The Pokemon Company among others will turn a very tidy profit from it.
