Namco Bandai in Japan have just unveiled the ninth installment of their The Idolm@ster: Gravure 4 U series on the Playstation 3. For those who have missed the information on the other eight, it is not a normal Idolm@ster game but one that has you and the girls off the stage and performing photoshoots in a number of locations. Each of the installments so far have had particular costume themes, with this one including Yukata’s and Sailor Bikinis. Also included is the addition of Ryo Akizuki, the third and final idol of The Idolm@ster Dearly Stars – and is a bit different from all the other playable idols in the series.
As usual, this will be released as a relatively expensive game and anime pack that might not suit the budgets to everyone. However, I have included the releases trailer above and a number of screenshots below for you to get a pseudo-experience of the game irrespective of if you purchase it or not. For those who are wondering – the cover art this time features Chihaya Kisaragi, another of the main idols.
