We have now reached the seventh edition of Namco Bandai’s not so reasonably priced Gravure 4 U releases for the Playstation 3. This series is a bit different than your normal Idolm@ster games in that it is a spin-off photo-shoot spin-off featuring all the Idols with particular themes of clothing and you can essentially take photos of them while having them choose poses. Last time they chose the Vampire and Bikini theme however this time around they have opted to go all-school themed with uniforms and burumas. #7’s release mascot idol is Hibiki Ganaha, which while my first playthrough of IM@S 2 has Yayoi as the main, Hibiki was my main through the second playthrough and provided a completely different gaming experience in terms of her vocals. As a bonus inclusion, they have also added Ai Hidaka from the Nintendo DS version THE iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars of the game. Ai Hidaka was previously included in last months DLC content for the main game – but no word on if the other two playable characters (Eri Mizutani and Ryo Akizuki) will be following suit.

Currently game import website Play-asia has the game for pre-order at a low (??) price of US$ 124.49 and is due for release on the 26th April 2012. If you want to take a look at their product page, click HERE. For now, enjoy some screenshots of the game!
