Following their work on both Steins;Gate and its continuation Steins;Gate 0 in recent years, UK-based video game publisher PQube have confirmed they will be extending their work on the ‘Science Adventure’ series outside the stories of Rintaro Okabe. While there are many titles the publisher could work on – including those which have received fully English-dubbed anime adaptations including Chaos;Head and Robotics;Notes – they have chosen to work on MAGES and 5pb’s visual novel Chaos;Child.
Chaos;Child will be released in PAL regions and North America sometime in Q3 2017 on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
You can read more about Chaos;Child’s storyline below:
Taking place in Shibuya, Tokyo, several years after an earthquake has nearly destroyed the district, it follows Takuru Miyashiro, a high school student who lost his parents in the earthquake, and his group of friends.
When a series of bizarre murder cases take place in Shibuya, Takuru notices that the dates of the murders match up with a series of murders that happened six years before. Using this knowledge, Takuru and his friends begin to investigate and find themselves embroiled in a dangerous murder mystery…
This is a sequel to Chaos;Head, which has received an English-localised anime but not an official visual novel localisation.
