Back in 2014 it was announced by MangaGamer that they would be releasing a remake version of 07th Expansion’s murder-mystery visual novel, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, chapter-by-chapter. Over the years, MangaGamer have released these chapters under the title Higurashi When They Cry Hou, featuring updated sprites (not the ones in the PS2/PS3 version however), original music, Japanese/English text and more.
With the four original “Question” arcs behind them, MangaGamer have begun their plans to release the four “Answer” arcs. With a release date of April 28 2017 locked in, the publisher have confirmed that Higurashi When They Cry Hou – Ch 5 Meakashi is now available for preorder via their official website. You will also be able to grab a copy via Steam at launch.
