Antro, a rhythm-driven 2.5D action puzzle-platformer developed by Gatera Studio and published by SelectaPlay, is set to officially launch on 27 June 2025. The game will be available digitally for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A physical edition will also be released for PlayStation 5 on the same day.
Set in the remains of a post-collapse Barcelona, Antro places players in control of Nittch, a courier navigating the depths of a dystopian underground city. With a mysterious mission and the weight of societal upheaval on his shoulders, Nittch must move through a world governed by La Cúpula—a technocratic regime that suppresses art, music, and dissent.
The gameplay merges platforming, puzzle-solving, parkour, and rhythm-based combat, all synchronised to an eclectic urban soundtrack featuring hip-hop, drill, R&B, and electronic music. The game’s levels pulse to the beat, blending narrative and mechanics as players push through the city’s stratified layers.
The game’s setting, Antro, is decaying subterranean metropolis, and sets out to offer players a visual and thematic contrast between control and resistance. As players descend further into the city’s heart, they will uncover more of its fractured history and the uprising that simmers beneath the surface. Antro is set in a world where only one percent of humanity survived the catastrophe that forced civilisation underground. In this new world, class divides and control mechanisms dominate life, with music and expression outlawed. But the revolution is building momentum, and Nittch may be the one to help ignite it.
A playable demo for Antro is currently available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam. With the full release approaching, players will soon be able to experience the complete narrative, gameplay systems, and soundtrack in full.
