Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be making its way to PC on 31 January 2025 (AEDT). The announcement was made during New York Comic Con, with the game set to release simultaneously via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The PC version, ported across and optimised by Nixxes Software in collaboration with original developer Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games, will be available in two editions: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition (DDE). Players can also upgrade to the DDE, similar to the PS5 upgrade system.
The Standard Edition includes the following:
- The complete game
- Includes all updates since the PS5 launch:
- 14 new suits
- New Game+
- Ultimate Levels
- New Symbiote Suit Styles
- Time of Day options
- Post-Game Achievements
- Action Figure Mode in Photo Mode
- Screen Reader and Audio Descriptions
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes all content from the standard edition, in addition to:
- All content from the Standard Edition
- 5 exclusive suits for Peter Parker
- 5 exclusive suits for Miles Morales
- Early unlock for the Arachknight Suit (Peter)
- Early unlock for the Shadow-Spider Suit (Miles)
- Early unlock for the Web Grabber gadget
- +5 skill points
- Additional Photo Mode items
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, featuring iconic villains such as Venom and Kraven. The game introduces new abilities like Symbiote Surge and Web Wings, alongside expanded areas of Marvel’s New York for players to explore. While no additional story content is planned, all previously released post-launch content, including New Game+ and new suits, will be available in the PC version. Additionally, the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack, a charity collaboration with Gameheads, will be available for PS5 players this month and for PC players at launch, at no extra cost.
Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes Software, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying:
