Konami Digital Entertainment BV has announced that EDENS ZERO, an action RPG based on Hiro Mashima’s manga, will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC in 2025. Fans of Mashima’s previous works, such as Fairy Tail and Rave Master, can look forward to controlling characters like Shiki, Rebecca, Weisz, and Homura as they embark on their cosmic adventure – this time in an interactive medium.
In EDENS ZERO, players will harness characters’ innate powers, known as Ether Gear, to relive iconic moments from the manga’s story while also forging their own path through the universe. Expect to hear more in the months leading to launch.
EDENS ZERO follows Shiki, a boy raised on the machine-filled planet Granbell, who meets Rebecca, a streamer, and her blue cat Happy. After becoming friends, they set out on an adventure aboard the Edens Zero spacecraft to find the mythical planet-sized entity known as “Mother.” Along the way, they will face powerful enemies, form new alliances, and explore the far reaches of the universe. The ship was left behind by Shiki’s father figure, Ziggy, also known as the ‘Demon King’.
