Coinciding with Marvel Studios’ upcoming cinematic release of Deadpool & Wolverine, arriving in cinemas 25 July, Xbox has designed a new custom Xbox Wireless Controller modeled after Deadpool’s buttocks. Sadly you cannot pop down to the store to acquire one of these, with them only being made available via a global sweepstakes, alongside other custom Xbox hardware.
In addition to the controllers, Xbox is also offering ffering custom hardware inspired by Deadpool, including a custom Deadpool-themed Xbox Series X and stand, featuring foam replicas of Deadpool’s iconic katanas, Bea and Arthur.
This hilariously entertaining controller, appropriately named “Cheeky Controller,” channels Deadpool’s buns of steel in its firm (yet surprisingly comfortable) grip. Designed by the Merc with a Mouth himself, it also comes clad in the anti-hero’s instantly recognisable—and might we add, incredibly flattering—red and black tactical suit, bringing a playful twist to the gaming experience.
