While announced surprisingly well in advance for a collaboration event, HoYoverse has announced that a special collaboration between their tactical RPG Honkai: Star Rail and TYPE-MOON and ufotable’s anime Fate/stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] will be taking place. This collaboration will take place in Q3 2025, with more information set to come in the future.
The contents of this collaboration are yet to be confirmed, with little to go off given HoYoverse has done very few crossover collaborations with other franchises. The main one which comes to mind is their collaboration between Genshin Impact and Horizon: Zero Dawn, resulting in Aloy becoming playable in the former. This collaboration was limited, and with no follow-up to receive constellations and Aloy being a weaker 5-star character, indications are that minimal players actively using her in their main parties.
HoYoverse plan to have more information on what this collaboration entails “soon”.
