EB Games Australia Teases Upcoming “Something Big” to EB World Program

For the longest time, Australian video game and pop culture retailer EB Games Australia has had a membership program known as EB World, where purchasing items from them in-store and online would see consumers accrue points (or “carrots”). As you acrue more carrots, you to rise through 4 levels (and a not-so-secret invite-only fifth level), with each granting a few different perks – including increased periods for pre-order holds, bonus trade credits, birthday vouchers, etc.

Through a sudden and massive push via website, social media and other marketing channels, EB Games Australia has confirmed that on 1 August 2024, “something big” will be coming to their EB World membership program.

What this entails is completely unknown, but it will be confirmed on 9am (AEST) on Thursday. If you are interested, be sure to keep an eye out for what’s to come, and perhaps (and hopefully) acquire more perks if you have thousands of excess carrots above the IV threshold of 9,500.
