Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Playable Demo to Debut at D23 Event

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be showcased at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, scheduled for August 9, 10, and 11 in Anaheim, California. Attendees can visit booth 3200 in Halls C and D at the Anaheim Convention Center to be among the first to play the game. Those who participate in the demo will receive an exclusive set of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed pins, available on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to the event weekend.

D23 attendees will also have the opportunity to join Epic Mickey Creative Director Warren Spector and other special guests for a panel on Friday, 9 August 2024 at 12:15 PST on the Backlot Stage. For those unable to attend D23, a demo of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be available at gamescom.

Developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games and published by THQ Nordic, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed sets out to be a faithful remake of the classic adventure game. The release is set for September 24, 2024, across multiple platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Epic Mickey was initially developed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii in 2010 by Junction Point Studios, later receiving a sequel in 2012 titled Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.
