Originally, and to this point only available on, the Nintendo Wii – Junction Point Studios and Disney Interactive Studio’s 2010 platformer Epic Mickey will soon be available remastered and on a broader spectrum of consoles. THQ Nordic has today confirmed that Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC from 24 September 2024. Developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games, this remake is available for pre-order today at a suggested retail price of $59.99 USD or local equivalent.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed offers players the chance to explore a reimagined Wasteland filled with Disney’s timeless characters and stories. The game features the signature magic brush mechanics, allowing players to paint to create and use thinner to alter the world, with choices affecting the story. The game also introduces advanced gameplay elements, new abilities, enhanced visuals, and also features multiple endings based on player decisions.
Pre-ordering the game grants the Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed – Costume Pack, which includes costumes inspired by Steamboat Willie, Football, and Brave Little Tailor, along with 24-hour early access on September 23 for digital console versions.
Additionally, a Collector’s Edition priced at $199.99 USD (or again, local equivalent) is now available for pre-order. This limited-edition bundle includes:
