Cloud Imperium Games, the team behind the still-in-alpha space simulation games Star Citizen and Squadron 42 have once again commenced their annual Intergalactic Aerospace Expo (IAE) event for their in-universe year of 2953. This showcase will take place on New Babbage on microTech from November 17th to 30th, inviting players to explore what is arguably their largest virtual show floor ever, featuring a diverse array of ground, air, and space vehicles.
Celebrating the essential roles these vehicles play in the United Empire of Earth, IAE 2953 offers a glimpse into the vast possibilities of life among the stars – complemented by rental periods for many already flyable ships to get a taste for them. It could be argued that with the impending release of the second system in-game, the Pyro System, this is a good opportunity for backers to fiddle with their ship line-ups to ensure they have enough firepower to tackle the challenges that potentially await.

- Discounted Starter Pack: Post-event, two discounted starter packs will be available, featuring the Gatac Syulen and the Consolidated Outlands Mustang Alpha, perfect for newcomers to the ‘verse.
- The Gatac Syulen Debut: This versatile alien hauler combines unique Xi’an design with practical performance, suitable for combat, cargo, and exploration.
- More Flyable Vehicle Launches: Look forward to new launches including the Argo SRV, Crusader’s C1 Spirit, and the Tumbril Storm, plus rumors of a surprise reveal.
