Welcoming in the weekend, Marvelous hosted a special showcase livestream offering a preview of some games they have in the works – and some new licenses. With Marvelous having branches in western markets now, we were fortunate enough to receive an official localised version of the 30-minute video, available to the left.
In today’s video, Marvelous Inc. President and CEO Suminobu Sato hosted development team members as they shared information about upcoming titles including Fashion Dreamer, new entries in the Story of Seasons and Rune Factory series, two new IPs in early development, and an first look at the mech action game, DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion.

Fashion Dreamer was showcased first during this livestream, with syn Sophia President and CEO Shuji Yoshida joining in to take a new look at the Nintendo Switch exclusive fashion game. The game revolves around a fashion influencer theme, aiming to bolster creativity, connectivity, and social interaction under the banner of “Sharing and Playing Together”. More light was shed on the social elements pivotal to the game experience, along with a sneak peek into some of the fashions to look forward to.
Next to be showcased with an announcement of Project Magia. Under the tagline of “A New Frontier”, Takehiro Ishida, Managing Producer of the project, shared early details of this venture. The game’s development will involve legendary illustrator and writer Hiro Mashima, known for his work on Fairy Tail, who will be designing the characters. Further information on this exciting project is expected in the near future.
Third on the list is another brand new IP, Project Life. Drawing inspiration from influential Japanese RPGs, Director Ittetsu Suzuki disclosed that the new title aims to resonate with the theme of “Life” and its parallels with an RPG. The project is intended to rekindle the feeling of anticipation that precedes every grand adventure, aiming to create an original title all RPG fans will adore.
The farming simulation game monolith which is Story of Seasons continues, with development underway on the next instalment in the franchise. Emphasizing the central theme of “Experiences”, the new title promises to deliver a fresh take on the series’ established tradition of farming and friendship. Nakano also teased s future project that aims to bring together fans of Story of Seasons in a shared gaming experience.
Rune Factory also received some love, with a spin-off project titled “Project Dragon” being introduced by series director Shiro Maekawa. The game, based on the theme of “East and West”, will transport players to the long-referenced “Land of the East”, offering exploration of new lands and communities with Japanese-styled design influences. Maekawa also confirmed that Rune Factory 6 is underway – with more information to come in the future.
Wrapping up the event was a look at DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion. Produced by Marvelous’ First Studio and helmed by producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, this new entry in the third-person mech shooter series promises to continue delivering thrilling Arsenal action. More about DAEMON X MACHINA: TITANIC SCION and all other games mentioned above will be released in the future.
