The next DLC expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online, titled Scribes of Fate, is now available to access on PC copies of the MMORPG, with the console versions to be made available in a couple of weeks’ time on 28 March 2023. This is the first instalment in Shadow Over Morrowind, TESO’s 2023 adventure line-up, featuring two new four-player PvE dungeons, Bal Sunnar and Scrivener’s Hall.
Within the dungeons, players should expect to discover two unique stories that kick off the larger Shadow Over Morrowind adventure, leading into the upcoming Necrom Prologue and Necrom Chapter release later this year. Both dungeons can be attempted in normal, veteran, and hard mode difficulties and feature their own associated rewards and Achievements, including six new item sets, two monster sets, and a host of collectibles including a new skin, emotes, and more.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Scribes of Fate can either be purchased standalone via the in-game Crown Store for 1,500 crowns, as part of a 4,000 Crown ‘Collector’s Bundle’ with some extra goodies, or as part of the ESO Plus membership service.
This DLC is being released alongside the game’s Update 37 base-game patch, available free to all players and like other base game patches, is mandatory. This update introduces new fixes, additions and improvements to the game – including the screen narration accessibility feature, quality-of-life features for the housing system, and the hide shoulders cosmetic tool. The latter will be unlockable via the upcoming Jesters Festival event later this month.
