Hogwarts Legacy on PS4 and Xbox One Delayed until May 2023

Seems like someone has cast Arresto Momentum! on the development of Hogwarts Legacy for last generation gaming console. Warner Bros. Games and developer Avalanche Software today took to social media platforms confirming that the PlayStation 4 [PS4] and Xbox One [X1] versions previously slated to launch 4 April 2023, are delayed a month and will now be available 5 May 2023.

Hogwarts Legacy is now available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, with a Nintendo Switch version also slated to launch 25 July 2023 pending any future unplanned delays. Better to have the extra time to port the game across properly rather than being an even buggier mess. Although this has raised some concerns from those hopeful of future updates or DLC plans, that such content will have its development delayed.
