Celebrating the Japanese Genshin Impact Twitter Account (@Genshin_7) hitting 2.9 Million Followers, developer HoYoverse has shared this adorable ‘Lantern Rite’ illustration featuring Yaoyao and Qiqi enjoying the festivities, alongside mascot character Paimon and the adepti treasure Yuegui.
While Yaoyao (Introduced in the newest patch) and Qiqi have not interacted in-game as of writing, according to Yaoyao’s unlockable voice lines, her and Qiqi are best friends. However, due to the unique traits of Qiqi, they are prone to forgetting Yaoyao – requiring her to consult her notebook.
