Something a bit different from the other colour options for your PlayStation 5 console, if you manage to track down a unit, Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that ‘Grey Camouflage’ will be joining the console cover and accessory colour offerings in the coming months. A bit different from the previously galaxy inspired offerings of Original White, Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple – these covers and accessories will be available for the DualSense wireless controller, PS5 console, and Pulse 3D Wireless Headsets.
According to Sony Interactive Entertainment:
The PlayStation design team reimagined our camouflage pattern to reflect a fresher, more contemporary feel. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the iconic PlayStation Shapes have been subtly incorporated into the pattern.
Starting 14 October 2022 (while supplies last), the DualSense wireless controller in Grey Camouflage will be available directly from PlayStation, before being made available a couple of weeks later via select retailers from 28 October 2022. Furthermore, the Grey Camouflage will be made available only via PlayStation Direct starting 14 October 2022 while supplies last. Those after the themed Pulse 3D wireless headset will be able to nab themselves the accessory sometime in December 2022.
Keep in mind that all Grey Camouflage accessories are sold separately, and there are no announced plans to offer them as part of a bundle.
