Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Headed to PS5, Xbox Series X in 2023, New DLC Announced

In Early 2020, Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer CyberConnect 2 released Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot onto the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now in 2023, the action-RPG fighting game will be making a new home on their successors, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with console-native versions to be offered on both platforms from next year. The upgrade will be free for those taking the PS4 –> PS5 or X1 –> XSX|S route, with a standalone release also planned.

In addition to this news, a fourth DLC part of the game’s second Season Pass has been confirmed. This chapter, titled Bardock: Alone Against Fate will be able to experience the story of the father of Goku, the Saiyan Bardock. Players will be able to impersonate the brave Saiyan that valiantly fought alone to protect the Saiyans’ home planet from the cruelty of Lord Frieza.

Below you can find announcement screenshots for both of the announcements, with the trailer for the DLC included above.
