PSP Spin-Off RPG Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- to Receive Multiplatform ‘Reunion’ Remaster

Previously only released on the PlayStation Portable, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- is a prequel to Square Enix’s hit 1990s RPG which is also confirmed to be receiving a remastered release in the future. The 2007 RPG will be titled Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion, and is billed as a “true remaster” rather than a “remake” that Final Fantasy VII Remake was.

To be released this Winter (or Summer in the Southern Hemisphere) – it is not long until newcomers and series veterans alike will be able to follow the original story of SOLDIER 1st Class Zack Fair on his mission to find missing SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos, unraveling the stories of Cloud, Sephiroth, Aeith, Tifa and more.

For now, you can enjoy the reveal trailer of Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion above, and expect to hear more about this game in the coming months.

Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Unlike the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake which is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 at least for a time, Square Enix are going straight for the multiplat release with this game.
