Capcom Fighting Collection Brings 10 Classic Fighters to Current-Gen Consoles

Marking the 35th Anniversary of Capcom offering their assortment of fighting games to audiences across the world, fans can now nab themselves Capcom Fighting Collection on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) right now. This collection is an anthology of ten different games across multiple franchises, two of which are being made available outside of Japan for the first time, and another having previously been exclusive to arcades. All ten titles will support local solo play, as well as online multiplayer – in addition to “enhanced features” and “quality of life updates”.

The ten titles in the Capcom Fighting Collection include:

  • All five Darkstalkers games:
    • Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
    • Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
    • Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
    • Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge (Previously unavailable outside of Japan)
    • Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire (Previously unavailable outside of Japan)
  • Red Earth (Releasing outside of arcades for the first time)
  • Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition
  • Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix

Online lobbies for each game will support up to nine players and feature rollback netcode for a strong and stable online experience. If players need to learn or perfect their moves, Training Mode has been added to nine of the ten games (excluding Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo). Various gameplay balance adjustments and quality of life improvements such as mid-game saves, new difficulty settings, and button customization have been added to each title as well.

In addition to the games, the Capcom Fighting Collection features a Museum mode featuring 500 pieces of official art, concept art, and design documents, plus more than 400 music tracks. According to Capcom, “for players looking for a stroll down memory lane, this is their ticket to nostalgia heaven”.

Players that purchase the digital versions of the game before September 30, 2022 will receive special illustrations and exclusive music tracks arranged by CAP-JAMS and other music artists. Players can also receive THREE WONDERS in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium (launching on 22 July 2022) if you purchase Capcom Fighting Collection during this time.
