NIS America Unveil Yomawari: Lost in the Dark for Switch, PS4, PC

A young girl cursed. To break the curse placed upon her, a young girl must venture out into the streets of her harrowing town at night, on the hunt for lost memories whilst evading the twisted spirits that lurk in the darkness. In development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC – players will be able to embark on this experience in Yomawari: Lost in the Dark, the latest atmospheric horror game developed by Nippon Ichi Software and published by Nippon Ichi Software America.

This is the latest game in Nippon Ichi Software’s Yomawari series, following the earlier portable console turned main console releases of Yomawari: Night Alone and Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. A limited physical edition of the game is now available to pre-order on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, which includes bonus goodies including a series soundtrack, collector’s box packaging, “Faces of the Night” set of 10 Pins and a set of 5 art cards.

The Story of Yomawari: Lost in the Dark

A young girl awakens in a dark, unfamiliar forest with no recollection of how she got there. As she searches for the way out, she crosses paths with a mysterious individual who reveals to her that she’s been cursed. In order to break the curse, she needs to explore the streets of her town at night to seek out her lost memories. However, malevolent ghosts lurk within the shadows, and the girl must avoid them by running, hiding, and shutting her eyes if she hopes to survive long enough to break her curse.
