ATLUS Opens 45-minute User Survey for Fans in United States

Typically only available in Japan, ATLUS and their ATLUS West division has released their annual ‘ATLUS User Survey’ in English for the first time, asking their fans in the US to dedicate approximately 45-minutes to go through dozens of questions, to potentially help guide their decision making in the future. Sadly this survey is not being officially made available to those outside of the United States, although I doubt that will stop some in having their voices heard.

Survey results assist us in delivering unique and compelling gaming experiences, as we continue to pursue development that values passion and ambition.

As someone who works as a data analyst in their day job, I would be drooling to get my hands over such extensive levels of data. However, here’s hoping that the thoughts of those with the time to complete the survey do help influence both what ATLUS West brings to international markets, and, perhaps ATLUS as a development team as a whole. If you are a person with such time, click HERE to begin the survey.

While many of the initial questions are demographics related, the data soon goes into some interesting territory such as those listed below. However, I wouldn’t recommend reading too much into the meaning of any of these questions. Although gotta say, an Etrian Odyssey remake for the new gen consoles would be welcome!

At the end of the day, this is a professional survey being run, so you should go into this survey answering questions as honest as possible to the best of your ability. It is unlikely that we will ever see the results of the survey or know how it influences decision making at ATLUS, so if you dedicate the time to this, be sure to do it right.
